Bus Depot Tours
AUD $0.00
  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • Location: Whiteman, WA

Discover what it takes to restore a vintage bus with a behind the scenes tour of the Bus Preservation Society’s depot. You will see operational buses, those currently being restored, as well as many being used for parts.

Do you remember the buses you used to take to school or to get around the city? Get up close to our collection of heritage buses and learn more about what’s involved in restoring them to functioning condition. You can speak to members of the Bus Preservation Society who will show you operational buses, buses being restored, and many buses held for parts.

The tour starts and finishes at the Whiteman Park Visitor Information Centre and you will be taken to and from the depot by one of the society’s buses.

Make the most of the opportunity to see inside the bus depot – an area that is usually closed to visitors. As the Bus Preservation Society does not yet have its own museum, this is a great chance to get a look at the collection and in the company of experts. You can also learn more about becoming a member of the Bus Preservation Society so that you can help protect these beautiful vehicles for future generations.

Bookings essential.
